When I first heard Poison off Doctor Rosen Rosen’s EP Girls, I remember thinking to myself within seconds how her voice reminded me of Karen O and a similar thing happened when first listening to Adelaide, except this time I was reminded of Sarah Slean. I think it’s due to the fact that she has a really great alt-rock voice in a sense that it’s a combination of raw vocals mixed with smooth femininity. So basically, I love it. Here’s the track in question, again produced by the rather wonderful Doctor Rosen Rosen.
